Artists’ Statement:

Home.

Home means something to each of us. What is home to you? Is it the structure or the things inside? How much can be stripped away before it no longer feels like home?

Earth is home to us all.

We are stripping our home naked, leaving it bare and barren. The Amazon Rainforest, home to so many, is burning. The lungs of the world are irreparably damaged. Who benefits?

Our home has been razed to its foundations, nothing but a hollow shell of what once was—How do we rebuild? How can we come back from this? The world’s largest rainforest, and greatest oxygen supplier, is being burned by lumber companies, and we all suffer.

And so we ask, what does home mean to you?
