Michael Thompson: Cubic Cryptids

“I want to create a narrative with my art, and I want to make the audience complicit in its creation. This exhibition consists of artwork I’ve made depicting creatures I call Cubic Cryptids. My goal with these creatures is to make the audience wonder about them and their world. In doing so, I believe their imagined perspective of that world is a collaborative story we’ve told together.”
