Ben Doyle: Flash Sheets and Spray Caps

“My art is created as a way to reflect my enjoyment of the artistic process, not of a finalized piece. My works are a combination of spray paint, marker, paints, and stickers. These are the materials that got me into art and eventually into printmaking. 

My work is engaged with a conversation of permanence. I take inspiration from graffiti and street art as well as tattoo flash sheets. While tattoos are permanent by nature, street art isn’t. Regardless, both pieces will naturally decay even if left untouched.”
